READER PHOTOS: A Muddy Predicament

A Murrieta Patch reader captures photographs of two trucks plus a couple of tow trucks, all caught in a muddy predicament over the Christmas holiday.

There just wasn't enough horsepower to dig two trucks out of a murky predicament on Christmas Eve, according to Murrieta resident Troy Jackson, who caught it all on camera.

Jackson said he first noticed the two trucks stuck in mud near the base of the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve on Friday. He simultaneously noticed a pair of tow trucks that had possibly been called to help dig them out, but were also trapped.

Recent rains made for a not-so-speedy recovery once the vehicles were submerged in a field off Calle Del Oso Oro and Vineyard Parkway.

Then Sunday, Jackson got it on camera as all of the vehicles were pulled to safety with the help of a tractor from United Towing of Murrieta and some Good Samaritans.

Warning: Don't try this at home!
