Here's what you need to know to apply.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Applicants are sought for at-large seats on the Marin Peace Conversion Commission, a five-member board created by Marin County's voter-enacted Nuclear Free Zone law.

Volunteer commissioners serve four-year terms, and as a body are tasked with enforcing the law that prohibits the County of Marin's investments in, or purchases of civilian products and services from nuclear weapons contractors and their subsidiaries, unless no reasonable alternative exists.

The deadline to submit applications is 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23. No specific qualifications are necessary.
