Starting April 1, Vista’s Coleman Dentistry will whiten teeth to raise funds for webcams in

Vista dentist John Coleman has three grandchildren on the way, with one expected to be born at Tri-City Medical Center, so this year, the team at Coleman Dentistry: Center for Smile Enhancement, which includes two of his sons, will raise the money needed for webcams in the
hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The Nicview Webcam System puts cameras above each baby’s bassinette to allow working parents, deployed military and distant relatives to stay connected and
close to their little patients over a computer or mobile device. Given that premature babies can sometimes require weeks of care in the NICU, the secure, password-protected technology provides reassurance to worried parents and loved ones when they cannot physically be at their baby’s side.
Beginning April 1 through July 31, the center will whiten teeth for roughly half the regular price and donate 100 percent of the proceeds as well as one percent of its
gross revenues to Tri-City Hospital Foundation. The goal is to raise $50,000 to purchase the webcam system.

“Dr. Coleman believes small businesses should help build the communities that they do business in,” said Ryan Coleman, Office Manager at Coleman Dentistry and one of Dr. Coleman’s son’s with a baby on the way. Another son, John Coleman III, known as Dr. John by patients, also works at Coleman Dentistry and is expecting his fourth child.
“We’re grateful for the generosity of Dr. Coleman and his team for volunteering their time and services toward the
purchase of webcams for the NICU,” said Tobi Ferguson, President and Chief Development Officer at Tri-City Hospital Foundation.
