• Human remains found not that of missing Oceanside woman (valleycenter.com) — Authorities say human remains found in Pauma Valley are not believed to be those of missing Oceanside resident Angelica Brophy, who disappeared at Palomar Mountain State Park in July. The San Diego Sheriff's Homicide Unit is leading the investigation, working with Oceanside police and Brophy's family, and reports no known threat to the broader community while asking the public for tips.
