ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A longstanding smoothie bar that has operated out of Downtown Disney for 23 years will close to make way for a SoCal bubble tea shop.
Jamba will close on July 6 and be replaced by a Bopo Go cafe planned for the Downtown Disney location, The Orange County Register reported.
Downtown Disney's Jamba will remain open until then, the report said.
Disneyland has filed a building permit with the City of Anaheim to remodel the 1,200-square-foot Jamba juice bar in Downtown Disney with electrical, plumbing and mechanical upgrades for a new business, Theme Park Wizard reported.
Downtown Disney's Jamba originally opened as a Jamba Juice in 2003, two years after the outdoor shopping mall debuted in 2001, Mickey Visit reported.
The longstanding business will be replaced by Bogo Go, a new cafe concept from Bopomofo developed specifically for Downtown Disney.
Bopomofo is known for its freshly pressed juice, ethically-sourced loose leaf teas, and ceremonial grade matcha.
The Bopomofo menu also features sandwiches, burgers, bowls, tacos and more.
