After 16 Years, Pacific Palisades Farmers Market Finds News Home

This is the last week to shop the Pacific Palisades Farmers Market on Swarthmore Ave. before its displaced by the Palisades Village project.

Pacific Palisades, CA -- This weekend is your last chance to shop the Pacific Palisades Farmers Market before it moves to its temporary home Pacific Palisades High School.

After 16 years at 1037 Swarthmore Ave, the farmer’s market is being displaced by the start of construction for 116,000-square-foot Palisades Village project.

Farmers market organizers announced the move on Facebook.

“It is with some sadness that we are moving after 16 years, but I am so looking forward to returning to Swarthmore when construction is complete,” said Jennifer McColm, founder of the Pacific Palisades Farmers’ Market, in a written statement. “Based on the latest information from Caruso, we expect to return to Swarthmore in about two years.

“I want to thank the entire Community for your continued support over the years and hope you will continue to support your favorite local farmers and artisans at our new temporary location at Palisades High School, 15777 Bowdoin Street, beginning July 24 from 8- 1 pm.”

The farmers market is expected to return to its longtime home in two years.
