Gas Prices Continue to Climb: Here Are the Cheapest Gas Stations in Los Angeles

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Los Angeles County is nearly 24 cents more than it was two weeks ago.

LOS ANGELES, CA The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 13th consecutive day, increasing 1.1 cents to $2.593.

The average price has risen 23.2 cents over the past 13 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, and is 2.5 cents higher than one week ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

However, the average price is 4.9 cents less than a month ago and 92.3 cents lower than one year ago after dropping 71.4 cents during a stretch of 49 decreases in 50 days that immediately preceded the increases.
