OCEANAIRES TO BE JOINED BY NEW DIRECTIONS CHORUS AT PAUL REVERE MAY 24

The
Oceanaires
, a local men’s Barbershop Harmony chorus, will be presenting their
2014 Spring Show at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2014, for the third year in a
row at Paul Revere Charter Middle School.
The show this year is “Radio Days: The Radio Time Machine.”  It will include such popular songs as “Bright
Was the Night,” “Java Jive,” and “Only You.”
In addition, quartets from within the chorus will also sing familiar
songs such as “Dream a Little Dream of Me."

This year’s
special guests will be the New Directions Veterans Chorus from the Veterans
Administration in Westwood.  The chorus
has a growing reputation in Los Angeles, and has been featured on America’s Got
Talent, a popular TV Reality Show.  Since
“hooking up” with the Oceanaires some of the veterans have also become regular
singers of barbershop.

Ticket
prices for the show are adults: $15; children 12 and under: $10.  Tickets may be purchased for cash at the door
or with a credit card at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/676448.  For more information, go to www.oceanaires.org or call 323-247-SING.
