We asked Patch readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:
- "People running through the red lights at Palisades Drive, and on Sunset. Put red light cameras up."
- "Driving too fast through the narrow streets. Also people on cell phones driving with one hand."
- "The robberies in the alphabets"
- "The way people drive on Sunset."
- "Blowing through stop signs. I see it every day in front of Marquez Elementary!! Parents rushing and not paying attention."
- "Cars not stopping at the signal at Palisades Drive & Palisades Circle. Drivers assume the light is on a timer or sensor and turns red to slow cars down, thus they drive right through-at very high speeds."
Is there a problem that wasn’t mentioned? Share it with us in the comments below or on our Pacific Palisades Patch Facebook page.
