Agua Caliente opens rare Indigenous art exhibit in Palm Springs (desertsun.com) — A major new Indigenous art exhibit has opened at the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum in Palm Springs, showcasing more than 50 rarely seen 20th century works from 16 tribal nations. Palm Springs Protesters Demand Accountability Over ICE Deaths (nbcpalmsprings.com) — Palm Springs residents gathered near Ramon Road and Day Palm on Sunday to protest deaths of immigrants in ICE custody and recent enforcement activity reported across the Coachella Valley. Organizers from United Youth We Stand and the Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice said they want accountability for in-custody deaths and to remind neighbors that immigration enforcement remains an urgent local concern.
