• Palos Verdes Peninsula cities moving ahead with law enforcement drone program (dailynews.com) — Rancho Palos Verdes has approved joining a new law-enforcement drone program run by the Lomita Sheriff's Station, committing over $44,000 toward four shared drones with neighboring cities. City leaders say the drones will aid emergencies, search and rescue, and crime scenes, while stressing they won't be used for routine surveillance and must follow existing privacy and legal standards.
