SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office asked the community Wednesday to help law enforcement locate a Petaluma man. Eduardo Giovay Lopez-Cabrera, 21, of Petaluma, is wanted as the suspect in a shooting Saturday night at a Valley Ford house party that injured two people — one critically — according to the sheriff's office.

Lopez-Cabrera, who also goes by "Peque," "Pequeño" and "Shorty" is considered armed and dangerous. Lopez-Cabrera is described as 5 feet 1 inches tall and 135 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"Do not approach him," said Misti Wood, spokeswoman for the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office. "If you see him, call 911 immediately and provide as much information as you can to the dispatcher. If you have any information about him or his location, call Sheriff’s Investigations at 707-565-2185 and ask for Sgt. Cutting."

Two others suspects, Anthony Racines, 19, of Rohnert Park, and Calvin Garcia, 23, of Santa Rosa, have already been arrested, Wood said.

An after-party to a gender reveal party was taking place when the shooting occurred.

Deputies responded to the home to investigate multiple reports of a fight involving a gun, Wood said.

About 30 people were in and around the house, some of whom directed deputies to the two victims.

The first was a man who was found sitting in a car, suffering from a serious head wound that was later determined to be a knife wound, not from a gunshot, Wood said. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, she said.

The second victim was a man who suffered a severe leg wound that was determined to be a gunshot wound. He was found in the backyard of the home, and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

As of Wednesday at about noon, Wood said both victims were still alive.

"The man with the head wound is still in critical condition with life-threatening injuries," Wood said. "The man with the leg wound has been released from the hospital and is expected to recover."

Saturday night after the victims were en route to the hospital, deputies scoured the area for the suspects while the Henry 1 sheriff's helicopter crew searched the area from above.

Deputies also interviewed people at the party and learned that it was an after-party to a gender reveal party held earlier Saturday at Finley Park in Santa Rosa.

"The two victims showed up to the after-party and a fight broke out shortly after their arrival, resulting in the injuries," Wood said. "The fight was likely gang-related and was limited to the five people involved (three suspects and two victims). Other partygoers immediately called 911."

Investigators later identified the suspects as Racines, Garcia and Lopez-Cabrera.

Racines was arrested Monday and according to Wood, is accused of three felonies: conspiracy, battery with serious injury, and a gang enhancement. Racines remained behind bars Wednesday at the main Sonoma County jail with his bail set at $55,000, Wood said.

Garcia was also arrested Monday; according to Wood, Garcia is accused of two felonies: attempted murder and battery with serious injury. Garcia was also still in jail Wednesday — without bail because of a state parole hold, Wood said.
