Open House Next Week on New Pleasanton Library Design, Location
A task force has been hard at work - do you agree what they've come up with so far?

PLEASANTON, CA - The City of Pleasanton will hold two open houses to provide updates and receive feedback on the design and siting prospects for Pleasanton’s new Civic Center/Library.
The first open house will take place on Tuesday, May 31, from 6 – 8 p.m. and the second open house will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 10 – noon.
Both open houses will be at the Pleasanton Public Library, located at 400 Old Bernal Ave.

Visitors will be invited to exchange ideas with city staff, the design consulting team and members of the Civic Center/Library Task Force.

1. A dream board where people can write their dream vision on post-it clouds
2. Virtual tours of other civic centers
3. Graphic representations of the proposed new civic center and library site on the Bernal property
4. Poster board representations and a three-dimensional model of site plans and architectural concepts
5. A drawing station equipped with paper and coloring pens for children and the young at heart to render their own best visual representation of their favorite aspects of a new library or civic center
The information you provide will be used to further the discussion with the Task Force and subsequently the City Council later this summer.
