Police Love Lemonade: Pleasanton Photo Of The Week
Patch loves photos! Share your photos with Pleasanton Patch and your work could be featured.
PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton police officers were recently caught on camera visiting a local lemonade stand. The mother of one of the two girls staffing the stand shared the cute photo via social media.
“The reasons why I love this town are too numerous to count, but one specific one today - when three Pleasanton PD officers show up to support your daughter and her friend's lemonade stand. Is there anything cuter? Thank you Pleasanton Police Department!!”
This is the second time since last week that Pleasanton officers were lauded for their random acts of kindness. Last Friday, a little boy who attended the Alameda County Fair’s opening day cattle drive in Pleasanton Friday morning enjoyed a very special birthday treat when a police officer used his loudspeaker to prompt the crowd on Main Street to sing “Happy Birthday." The boy's family asked the officer for a photo and a few moments later, the officer had the crowd singing to Jacob, who just turned eight.

It’s Your Shot: Pictures You Take and We Share
It seems everyone’s a photographer these days.
Cell phones capture amazing images. True DSLR cameras render detail that almost looks surreal. We got to thinking. Why not share the pictures we receive, and see elsewhere, with you?
