Rita’s Italian Ice Returns To Pleasanton
The grand re-opening celebration will be held on April 14. The first 25 customers on Saturday will receive free Italian ice for a year!

PLEASANTON, CA — Rita’s Italian Ice is back and will celebrate its grand re-opening on Saturday. After being closed for several months, the popular ice cream purveyor is under new ownership. Greg Arellano, Terry Arellano, Pravin Vivekanandan and Sumithra Ramadas said they are excited to bring Rita’s back to downtown Pleasanton.
"We know you’ll find a terrific treat made just for you, including many sugar free/gluten free/dairy free ice options," the company said in a statement.
All of their products, including cookies and cones, are made fresh each day. They have more than 65 flavors of Italian ice and Rita’s also offers catering. Interested in working at Rita’s? They are hiring for a management position and daytime servers.

The store will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 10 p.m. daily. Rita’s is located at 320 St. Mary St. in Pleasanton.
