Waste Management of Orange County Waste and Recycling Service Delayed by One Day

Waste Management of Orange County’s curbside residential trash and recycling and commercial pick-up schedule will be delayed by one day throughout the week of May 28, in observance of Memorial Day. This means customers in the following cities should place their bins out for pick-up one day later than usual, beginning Tuesday, May 29 through Saturday, June 2:

  • Costa Mesa
  • Irvine
  • La Habra
  • Laguna Beach
  • Lake Forest
  • Foothill Ranch
  • Portola Hills
  • Mission Viejo
  • Newport Coast (in Newport Beach)
  • Santa Ana
  • Communities in unincorporated Orange County, including Coto de Caza, Cowan Heights, Emerald Bay, Las Flores, Lemon Heights, Modjeska Canyon, North Tustin, Orange Park Acres, Silverado Canyon and Trabuco Canyon

“Customers who usually receive service on Monday will instead receive it Tuesday, and so on throughout the week, with Friday’s customers receiving service on Saturday,” said Michelle Clark, Community Relations Representative. “We appreciate our customers’ cooperation with the holiday schedule so that our employees can observe Memorial Day.”
