Roughly 750 Attend Loma Linda Children’s Hospital Foundation

The celebration honors those who have worked to serve sick children.

Roughly 750 gathered at the National Orange Show Events Center to celebrate during the 18th annual Loma Linda Children’s Hospital Foundation gala titled “Health, Hope and All that Jazz.” The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians presented the event.

Guests feasted on buffets featuring a variety of food styles, including New Orleans Cajun and Italian. Several community members and hospital staffers were honored during the night for their service to help children. Silent and live auctions raised about $800,000, hospital officials said. The foundation planned to use some of the funds to AxiEM machine, a state-of-the-art piece of equipment used in neurosurgery that the children’s hospital needs.
