McChesney's work "is the most comprehensive depiction of Mojave Desert imagery to date," Librarian Daniel Slota of A.K. Smiley said.
"It features 540 full color images and offers travel and photography advice for those who wish to get the most out of their Mojave adventures," Slota said. "David's vast knowledge of Mojave 'Hot Spots' helps create the only book of its kind."
