Loma Linda Formally Dedicates Trail Head

Weather delayed the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the improved trail area above Hulda Crooks Park.

Loma Linda city officials and residents gathered above Hulda Crooks Park late in the afternoon Tuesday to finally dedicate the improved trail head at the site.

Weather played a role in delaying the ceremony, after rains washed out one ceremony, and the ensuing mudslides forced the delay this past spring.

Some of the improvements in the trail area included expanded parking lots and trail signs to help hikers navigate the South Hills Preserve area.
