Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Changes Family's Life

One's family story of their son's recovery from surgery is shared during the annual LLUCH gala.

Amid the honors and fundraising that took place at the March 10 Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Foundation's Gala were a few serious moments where organizers took the opportunity to remember the importance of their cause.

Foundation members presented a touching video that followed a family as they dealt with their young son's neurosurgery procedure.

The gala, themed “Health, Hope, and All That Jazz” was presented by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and held at the National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino. The event raised $790,000 for the kids seeking treatment at the hospital, hospital officials said.
