Redlands + Loma Linda Motorists Advised: NB 215 Closed All Weekend
Local officials call it the 'Big Shift.' The closure this weekend on northbound Interstate 215 in San Bernardino is from 11 p.m. Friday May 4 to 6 a.m. Monday May 7.
Motorists traveling from Redlands and Loma Linda are being warned to avoid northbound Interstate 215 in San Bernardino all weekend.
It's closed as part of the ongoing $720 million widening project local officials call the "Big Shift."
The closure this weekend on the northbound 215 is from 11 p.m. Friday May 4 to 6 a.m. Monday May 7.

"Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes," states an announcement by SANBAG -San Bernardino Associated Governments.
"Please note that throughout the closure process, SANBAG and the contractor will continue to look for ways to accelerate construction and open the roadway ahead of schedule," SANBAG officials said.

Starting Friday, May 4 at 11 p.m. through Saturday, May 5 at 4 a.m. NB I-215 to close from 2nd Street to Massachusetts Avenue
Starting Saturday, May 5 at 4 a.m. through Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m NB I-215 to close from Baseline Street to Massachusetts Avenue
Starting Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m. through Sunday, May 6 at 4 a.m. NB I-215 to close from Baseline Street to Massachusetts Avenue
Starting Sunday, May 6 at 4 a.m. through Monday, May 7 at 6 a.m. NB I-215 to close at Baseline Street
