War on Iran? Heck No, Says Occupy
About 30 people protest to call on the government to avoid a war with Iran.
Occupy Redlands took a stance on the growing tensions with Iran, calling on the government to stay away from a war.
About 30 people protested Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Tennessee Street and San Bernardino Avenue. The signs waved called for an end to wars.
The intersection is far from the busy streets of Redlands downtown and within blocks of Citrus Valley High School. But it was busy. Some motorists honked. A few jeered. Some actually rolled down windows and offered words of encouragement.

"That man who stopped was a veteran," Virginia Harp-Sanders, a committee member with Occupy Redlands, said after a motorists stopped to talk to the group. "He just told us, '28 years in the military and I agree with you. They've been planning this war for four years.' "
The group as a whole agreed that the country seems headed to a conflict with Iran that it cannot afford, in many ways, to have. Read Occupy Redland's .

"A lot of people have been rolling down their windows," said Occupy Redlands committee member Keith Jackson. "When the windows are down, you can hear them talking about this. It's good to get the conversation going."
