The Los Angeles Guitar Festival returns to the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center August 24 & 25, 2012; The festival is the only annual showcase named after our city, featuring some of the hottest and most respected acoustic and electric guitar talent on the planet.
Following its debut July 4th weekend 2011, the festival reimagines another landmark celebration of a variety of guitar styes including acoustic and electric blues, rock, country picking, gypsy jazz, and acoustic fingerstyle performed by leading icons of each genre.

Guitar legend Albert Lee has been awarded 2 Grammys in his illustrious career. In 2002, Lee received a Grammy Award for Best Country Instrumental Performance for Foggy Mountain Breakdown from the CD Earl Scruggs and Friends. In 2009, he again received a Grammy Awared for Best Country Instrumental Performance for the track Clusterpluck from Brad Paisley's album of the same name.

Renegade Creation is a guitar tour de force featuring Robben Ford and Michael Landau riding a rhythmic foundation laid down by one of rock’s finest rhythm sections, bassist Jimmy Haslip and drummer Gary Novak - an ensemble that delivers both rootsy, blues/rock vocal tunes and fiery instrumentals.
John Jorgenson is known as one of the pioneers of the American gypsy jazz movement. A founding member of the Desert Rose Band, the Hellecasters, and six-year member of Elton John's band, Jorgenson has been sought out by artists ranging from Barbra Streisand to Bonnie Raitt to Earl Scruggs for his guitar work.
Peppino D’Agostino has been hailed as “a guitarist’s guitarist” by Acoustic Guitar magazine as well as “a giant of the acoustic guitar” (San Diego Reader); The Chicago Tribune praises his “virtuosity and complexity” as well as his gift for composing “memorable melodies.”
Doug MacLeod is known for his superb songwriting, guitar wizardry, warm soulful vocals, wit and unforgettable live performances. At the heart of this is his knack for storytelling, bringing characters-from the faceless to the legendary- to strikingly real life.
