What's all this we're hearing about organic this and organic that? I'm not just talkin' bout food, it's everywhere! Like 'let the dynamic unfold 'organically''', or 'the architecture of that building is really 'organic'''. I think it's about what looks natural. When something is unadulterated. I use it in hairstyling terms when I'm talking about haircolor. I want the hair to have some highlights that are 'organic' looking, or when I'm talking about hairstyling, (the finished look). I use it in that sense to describe a look that is not contrived or too 'every hair in place' sort of thing. Here are some pictures that describe the former and the latter. Jessica Simpson's hair is more of the 'every hair in place', a little too contrived, whereas Heidi Klum's is more 'organic' looking. The model, (I don't know who she is), with the wavy hair has every hair in place. And the other wavy haired model, (one of my own, who shall remain nameless), has an organic look, but not messy. With each picture being worth 1,000 words, I've got 4,000+, nuf said.
