Did you know that in California, a parent may be liable for negligently supervising a child if (1) the parent observed the minor's dangerous behavior that led to the injury; (2) had the opportunity and ability to control the minor; (3) but was negligent because he/she failed to exercise resonable care to prevent or take precautions to prevent harm to others; and (4) this failure caused the harm to someone.
