• Redondo Beach Vocational Program Launches For Neurodiverse Adults (patch.com) — Redondo Beach residents now have a new vocational lifeline for neurodiverse adults, offering paid internships, job coaching and tailored training with local employers. The Friendship Foundation's Vocational Pathways Program, soon to be housed at the new Friendship Campus on Inglewood Avenue, connects participants with South Bay businesses and city departments to build long-term career skills and independence.
   

• Redondo Beach to revitalize Seaside Lagoon by the time the 2028 Olympics arrive (dailybreeze.com) — Redondo Beach is moving ahead with a long-awaited overhaul of Seaside Lagoon, aiming to complete the revamped swimming and recreation area before the 2028 Olympics. The City Council just backed a scaled-down plan with a concrete-bottom, potable-water pool, new slides and splash features, and shallower depths, while residents and harbor commissioners continue to push for more ocean-like elements and future phases.
   

• Public Notices Published September 24, 2026 (sanfernandosun.com) — Among a long list of Los Angeles County legal notices, Redondo Beach residents should note an online auction of abandoned hair-supply inventory from a storage unit at 1815 Hawthorne Boulevard on October 15. The page also includes upcoming court hearings on name changes, probate petitions, trustee sales, and auto lien auctions that may affect people across the region.
