Another Teen Arrested, ID'd: More Details Revealed In Redwood City Shooting
BREAKING: Police have identified one of the suspects and have released more information in the incident.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — Two teens have now been arrested in connection to the shooting of another teen in Redwood City this week, police say. The victim, an 18 year old, was shot multiple times in the incident — which allegedly happened in a drug deal gone bad, according to authorities.
East Palo Alto resident Jose Correa, 19, and an unidentified 16-year-old boy are accused of attempted murder in the case, which happened around 1:45 a.m. Thursday, according to Redwood City police.
"Detectives were able to develop information that the victim and the suspects were engaged in a drug sale transaction when the shooting occurred," police said in a news release. "There are no outstanding suspects or other injured parties associated to this investigation."
