The suspect had been arrested days earlier in similar charges.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary Saturday afternoon, less than a week after he was released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of similar charges, the Redwood City Police Department said in a news release.

A resident staying in a recreational vehicle in the area of Hansen Way just east of Veterans Boulevard told police that someone attempted to open the screen door and then entered while she was inside.

The woman, fearing for her safety, armed herself with a stick, but the man ultimately left.
