2 Shot On Sidewalk In Southwest Santa Rosa, Suspect At Large: PD

A reward up to $2,500 is offered for information leading to the suspect or suspects' arrest.

SANTA ROSA, CA — Two people were rushed to the hospital early Thursday morning for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds suffered in a shooting in southwest Santa Rosa, police said.

The shooting was reported around 12:35 a.m. in the area of Sebastopol Road and Dutton Avenue. Officers found two adults who were both shot several times on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Sebastopol Road, SRPD Sgt. Christopher Mahurin said.

Both shooting victims were rushed to local hospitals and were expected to survive their injuries, Mahurin said.

Police canvassed a large area but were not able to find a possible suspect or a weapon, the sergeant said.

"The investigation is ongoing and limited information is available due to the nature of the crime," Mahurin said.

A reward up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance "Take Back Our Community Program" for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved in the incident.
