If you have been exercising consistently for several weeks and have yet to see significant results --- DON’T give up! Results take time and patience. Those nicely sculpted ‘guns’ and ‘buns’ you see at the gym took time and dedication to earn.
Just because you don’t see any visible changes happening doesn’t mean changes aren’t happening. Focus on how you feel; do you have more energy? Do you have a more recuperative sleep? Are you more alert? Does it take less time to evaporate that morning mental fog? If you are answering yes to some or all of these then you are on the correct path to better health and fitness.
Physical changes take time and most experts, myself included, believe it is realistic to not see an appreciable drop in waist size or dress size in less than 6-8 weeks. The key is to stay motivated. If you need more direction seek the advice of a trusted friend or fitness trainer/coach.
