Man Killed In Thanksgiving Day Assault Near Calistoga Identified
BREAKING: The 40-year-old from Sonoma County was found outside a home along Highway 128.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – A Geyserville man killed in an assault on Thanksgiving has been identified by the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office as 40-year-old Cesar Gonzalez-Rivas.
A caller in the 16000 block of state Highway 128 between Geyserville and Calistoga reported the incident just after 3 p.m. Thursday.
Gonzalez-Rivas was found outside of a home at the scene of the crime and was given medical aid before he died of his injuries, deputies said.

"Our sincere condolences go out to Cesar's friends and family," Sonoma County sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Crum said in a statement.
