On Friday, detectives from the SRPD Violent Crimes Team transported Adams back to Santa Rosa where he was booked into the Sonoma County jail.
It is alleged that Adams started an argument with a customer behind him in the drive-thru line, then threatened him with a handgun. The 22-year-old victim said he was shot at multiple times by the suspect as the suspect left the drive-thru at the Taco Bell at 1835 Mendocino Ave.

The victim suffered at least one gunshot wound and was hospitalized with serious but not life-threatening injuries, police said.
The victim described the shooter's vehicle as a white 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The crime scene was processed for evidence, and officers found the white Ford pickup in a parking lot at 2300 Mendocino Avenue. There was no one in the truck but officers did find a handgun inside the vehicle, Mahurin said.
Once detectives identified Adams as the suspected shooter, they worked with the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office to obtain a warrant for Adams's arrest on suspicion of attempted homicide.
At 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, detectives and SWAT team members served the warrant at Adams's residence in the 2100 block of Humboldt Street. Evidence was collected from his home but Adams himself was not located until late Thursday night in Brisbane.
As of Monday, Adams was being held without bail pending a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, jail records showed.
