Achievement: This avid dancer has steadily worked up to become a senior member of the advanced dance group at McGrath's.
She has been with the Academy for over two years now and is fondly known as "Princess McGrath." Along with dancing ballet, jazz, and contemporary (which is her favorite), Kiyomi also recently started teaching at the school as well.
After training with Amy McGrath she is a first-year teacher for kids 4 to 10 years old in both tap and jazz. She attends Santa Rosa High School because of the ArtQuest Dance program and spends two periods each day dancing at school as well as her evening dance session and teaching at McGrath's.
On top of that she manages a solid 3.5 GPA and enjoys English and Spanish along with being an avid reader.
Key to Awesomeness: "She is such a good role model for dance students and females in general," said Amy McGrath. "She is sweet and friendly, loyal, and all the kids love her and look at her with such a level of awe."
When she grows up: "I would like to be a sonogram technician"
About McGrath's Performing Arts Academy: Amy McGrath's studio is a place for people to be educated and excited about singing, dancing, and acting in the theatre arts. The studio strives to encourage and teach students of all ages in a positive and safe environment. Currently the Dancers are practicing for their June recital and summertime competitions.
