Average Gas Price Drops Nearly A Cent In San Diego County
The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in San Diego County has fallen $1.13 since rising to a record $6.373 on June 15.

SAN DIEGO, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped seven-tenths of a cent Monday at $5.243, its lowest amount since March 5.
It was unchanged on Sunday and had decreased for 71 of the previous 73 days. It has fallen $1.13 since rising to a record $6.373 on June 15, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
It is 4.9 cents less than one week ago and 35.6 cents lower than one month ago, but 89.5 cents more than one year ago.

The national average price dropped for the 76th consecutive day since rising to a record, decreasing three-tenths of a cents to $3.85. It has dropped $1.166 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, including four-tenths of a cent on Saturday.
The national average price is 5.1 cents less than one week ago and 40.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 70.2 cents more than one year ago.
