Average Gas Price Rises Slightly In San Diego County

It's the third consecutive slight increase following a run of 21 decreases in 24 days.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose three-tenths of a cent Monday to $5.745, the third consecutive slight increase following a run of 21 decreases in 24 days totaling 27.8 cents.

The average price is 2.1 cents less than one week ago and 25.4 cents lower than one month ago but $1.71 higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.

The average price rose one-tenth of a cent on both Saturday and Sunday.
