Documenting The New Face Of Cannabis
A documentary photography exhibit from Nichole Montanez of the children at ground zero of the medical cannabis revolution.

As the cannabis cultural revolution continues to rapidly grow, it's important to recognize and always remember the children who lit a fire under it all in 2013. Their brave families have taken incredible risks, pushing ethical and legal limits as they followed hope. Since day one Nichole Montanez, a photographer from Colorado Springs, has been at ground zero with these families, documenting the surprising new face of the cannabis movement - their children.
La Bodega Gallery is proud to bring her exhibit of portraits and documentary photographs to San Diego. The project spans over 5 years; contains thousands of images; and includes an installation and portraits of 283 children from all over the country, including many local children from San Diego County.
This is a family friendly event and great opportunity to learn more about the children behind one of the great medical advancements in modern history.
