Gas Prices Increase Slightly In San Diego County
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose to $5.256.

SAN DIEGO, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose a half-cent Tuesday to $5.256 — its fourth consecutive increase after dropping 76 times in the 79 days since rising to a record $6.373 on June 15.
The average price is 1.6 cents higher than one week ago, 19.9 cents lower than one month ago, and 90.3 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The national average price dropped for the 84th consecutive day since rising to a record, falling seven-tenths of a cent to $3.779. It has dropped $1.237 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14.

The national average price is 6.5 cents less than one week ago and 30.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 59.1 cents more than one year ago.
