Solomon Ward Promotes Jeannette Filippone to Partner

Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith, LLP has promoted Jeannette Filippone to partner of the firm, effective July 1, 2019.

“Jeannette is an impressive attorney with extensive skills in business law and transactional matters,” said Stephen Schreiner, Solomon Ward’s managing partner. “Her elevation to partner will further strengthen our firm and help serve our clients well into the future.”

A member of the firm’s business practice group, Filippone’s practice includes capital raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, business formation and structuring, commercial transactions and federal and state securities law compliance. She represents companies in a wide variety of industries, including life sciences, technology, software, services and consumer products.

Filippone’s past work includes serving as general counsel of a life sciences company and as an attorney at a large international law firm for over ten years.

Filippone received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law, her M.A. from the University of California, San Diego and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts.
