Tree Watering Volunteers Needed in Chula Vista and Logan Heights

Tree San Diego needs your help to water 500 street trees planted in Chula Vista and Logan Heights. Each Saturday, teams of volunteers fill buckets with water from a truck and then carry the buckets to pour on trees during two-hour shifts. Volunteers also help keep the tree basins weed-free. Please wear closed-toe shoes. Bring water, hat and sunscreen if desired. Safety vests and gloves are provided. You can see all scheduled watering shifts and register to participate at:
