2 Quakes Rattle NorCal Wednesday Morning
A quake near Ukiah struck shortly after another hit offshore.
UKIAH, CA — A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck north of Ukiah at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake struck in a rural area about 46 miles north of Ukiah and 58 miles east of Fort Bragg, and was felt lightly around the area, according to USGS’s “Did You Feel It?” map.
A 3.4 struck along the coast off of Eureka at 8:29 a.m. Wednesday, though it was not felt.

On Tuesday at 8:04 a.m., a 2.9 struck about three miles west of Davis, though it was not strongly felt.
