Army Of Volunteers Knock On Doors In Search For Missing Bay Area Coffee Shop Owner

Authorities said she is considered to be at-risk because of medical conditions.

OAKLAND, CA — Police are asking for the public's help in the search for a missing Bay Area woman who hasn't been seen since last week.

The California Highway Patrol issued an emergency alert on Sunday night for 52-year-old Amy Hillyard.

Authorities said Hillyard is considered to be at-risk because of medical conditions, which were not disclosed.

Hillyard is believed to be on foot.

She was last seen around 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the 500 block of Radnor Road near Lake Merritt in Oakland, according to the Oakland Police Department.

On Sunday, loved ones held a candlelight vigil for Hillyard. Since she was reported missing, more than 200 volunteers have walked door-to-door around the neighborhood for any surveillance video of Hillyard, NBC Bay Area reported.

Hillyard owns Farley's coffee shops in San Francisco and Oakland, according to the Downtown Oakland Association.

Police described Hillyard as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan-colored top and tan pants.
