Cannabis To Be Legally Sold At Outside Lands

The San Francisco Office of Cannabis and the California Bureau of Cannabis Control issued the temporary cannabis event permit.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Officials with San Francisco's Office of Cannabis and Recreation and Park Department announced Wednesday that this year's Outside Lands festival will be the first where cannabis will be sold and allowed for use legally.

Attendees that are at least 21 years old during the concert three-day weekend will be allowed to entered the "Grass Lands" area, where Golden Gate Park rangers, police and other security officials will ensure safe consumption of lab-tested cannabis.

In the Grass Lands area, local vendors will sell the cannabis through point-of-sale systems that will ensure each person remains within the legal limit for cannabis purchases.
