Free directory: which SF Live Scan shops are actually open Saturdays

Showing up for a walk-in Live Scan on a Saturday in SF is mostly a gamble. The state's official list at https://oag.ca.gov/fingerprints/locations tells you who's certified, which is the part that matters, but the hours on it drift out of date and you find that out standing in front of a locked door. So I put together a free filter for weekend and walk-in shops: https://saturdaylivescan.com/ , with the SF page at https://saturdaylivescan.com/san-francisco/ and Berkeley at https://saturdaylivescan.com/berkeley/ if you're heading across the bridge. Two things save you the second trip. Bring the request form your agency gave you (BCIA 8016, or 41-LS if you're a notary) plus an unexpired government photo ID, and call the shop the morning of. Rolling fees generally land somewhere in the $20 to $50 range on top of the DOJ and FBI fees, but confirm that with whoever you're going to. It's a directory and that's it. I haven't personally called every shop listed, and I don't run a fingerprinting business.
