Jewish Film Festival Kicks Off In San Francisco
An opening bash will be held at the Contemporary Jewish Museum.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The 39th annual San Francisco Jewish Film Festival gets underway Thursday, organizers said.
The festival starts with a movie showing at 6:30 p.m. at the Castro Theatre at 429 Castro St. The celebration continues with a bash starting at 9 p.m. at the Contemporary Jewish Museum at 736 Mission St.
The centerpiece of Bay Area works will be Rob Garver's "What She Said: The Art of Pauline Kael."
