No Cable Car Service On Friday
Service was halted to protect operators and passengers from wildfire smoke.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA —San Francisco Municipal Railway officials have halted cable car service all day Friday over concerns about smoky air.
Muni announced the decision on Twitter around 2:25 p.m. Thursday, saying that all cable cars would be pulling back into the cable car barn.
Bus shuttles will be providing service on the Powell, Powell-Hyde, Powell-Mason and California cable car lines, Muni officials said.
