Outside Lands 2022 Lineup Includes Green Day, Post Malone, SZA
Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 for the star-studded festival, which will take place Aug. 5-7 at Golden Gate Park.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — “I hope you have the time of your life,” attendees of the 14th annual 2022 Outside Lands music festival are likely to hear.
Berkeley legend Green Day was announced Tuesday morning as one of the headliners of the iconic festival, which is scheduled for the weekend of August 5-7 at Golden Gate Park. Green Day will share top billing with an eclectic array of performers, including rapper Post Malone, R&B singer-songwriter SZA, and folk singer-songwriter Paul Simon.

The festival was canceled in 2020, and postponed to Halloween in 2021. “Last year’s festival was not only a cathartic experience, but a much-needed celebration for the Bay Area and beyond,” Allen Scott, Outside Lands’ co-founder, told Pitchfork in a statement. “We can’t wait to do it all again with our Outside Lands community this August.”
