Hellman Pulls Ahead Of Swift For Second Fairfax Council Seat
Stephanie Hellman appears to have come from behind to take a 29-vote lead over Cindy Swift for the second seat on the Fairfax Town Council.

FAIRFAX, CA — Fairfax Town Council candidate Stephanie Hellman appears to have come from behind to take a 29-vote lead Wednesday over Cindy Swift for the second seat on the council.
Hellman was trailing Swift on election night by two dozen votes, and she was eight votes behind Swift after a second update on Friday afternoon.
Hellman, 48, a nonprofit coordinator, had 1,290 votes and Swift, 66, a retired technology program manager, had 1,261 as of Wednesday's third update with nearly all votes counted.
