• National Archives Issues Dismissive Response to Lawmakers & Community Concerns (house.gov) — Plans to close the National Archives facility in San Bruno could soon move irreplaceable immigration and historical records thousands of miles away, limiting in‑person access for Bay Area families and researchers. Rep. Kevin Mullin, Rep. Judy Chu, and dozens of lawmakers are pressing NARA to reverse course, highlighting the archive's unique Angel Island, AANHPI, Tribal, and regional records and urging residents and Tribal members to join upcoming listening sessions.
