SAN LEANDRO, CA — Miyo Burnett shared a pair of photos of a katydid on an Iceberg Rose. One photo shows the katydid checking out the photographer, while the other showcases the insect's leaf mimicry patterns which protect it from predators — as long as it stays on greenery and not on white roses!
