Marin Center Cancels Events Through May 11 Due To Coronavirus
The offices of the Marin Center will also be closed until April 7.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — All events at the Marin Center are canceled through May 11 in an effort to limit the spread of the new coronavirus, the county's Department of Cultural Services announced Tuesday.
This includes events at the Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium, Showcase Theater, Exhibit Hall, Lagoon Park, fairgrounds, meeting rooms and galleries. The offices of the Marin Center will also be closed until April 7.
"The health and well-being of our patrons, staff and community is our primary focus right now," the announcement said. "We appreciate your patience, support and understanding as we navigate through these challenging times."

Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Marin on Monday, bringing the county's total to 11.

A shelter in place order for Marin and several other Bay Area counties went into effect at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and will last until at least April 7.
